Helm & Stag

Terms of Service

These terms apply to purchases made from Sons of Khalid Ltd trading as Helm & Stag through this online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with any product-specific information shown on the relevant product page.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Products

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our watches accurately. Because some materials and finishes are individually hand-worked, natural variation in colour, texture and pattern may occur between pieces. Where this variation is described as part of the product, it forms part of the character of the watch rather than a defect.

Product specifications shown on the product page form part of the description. If a product is expressly stated not to be water resistant, it must not be treated or used as a water-resistant watch.

Orders and contract formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods shown in your order. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send an order confirmation.

If we are unable to accept an order, for example because of an inventory error, payment issue or other genuine inability to supply the product, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.

Prices and payment

The total price payable is shown before you complete checkout. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are displayed as part of the checkout process.

Payment is taken using the payment methods made available through Shopify checkout. You must have authority to use the chosen payment method.

Limited editions and availability

Where a watch is described as a limited edition, the stated edition size is the maximum intended production for that edition. Availability remains subject to completed orders and stock allocation.

Build-to-order products

Some Helm & Stag watches are assembled and hand-finished after an order is placed. Estimated build and dispatch times are shown in our Shipping & Delivery policy and, where applicable, on the product page.

Being assembled to order does not by itself make a standard watch a personalised item. Any separate personalised or custom-specification order will be identified as such before purchase.

Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery policy. Unless a longer period has been expressly agreed with you, goods will be delivered within 30 days of the contract being concluded.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and obtain a refund are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy. For standard online orders, this includes the statutory right to cancel within the applicable 14-day cancellation period.

Faulty goods and statutory rights

Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality as required by law. If goods are faulty or otherwise fail to meet these requirements, you may have statutory rights to remedies including repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Warranty

Any commercial warranty supplied with a Helm & Stag watch is additional to your statutory rights. Expiry of a commercial warranty does not remove any statutory rights that may continue to apply.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For consumers, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

Intellectual property

The Helm & Stag name, branding, website content, product imagery, text and original designs are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. No rights are transferred to you except the right to use the product you purchase for its normal purpose.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us through the Contact page. We will try to resolve the matter directly and fairly. Where any applicable law or contractual arrangement requires us to provide information about an alternative dispute-resolution procedure, we will do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live or any right you have to bring proceedings in an appropriate local court.

Our current customer contact route is available through the Contact page on this website.
