Who is Helm & Stag?

Helm & Stag is a small independent British watch company. Our watches are individually assembled and finished in Britain with care, pride and attention to detail.

What movements do you use?

Helm & Stag watches use dependable automatic mechanical movements selected to suit each model. We prefer to let the design, construction and experience of the watch speak louder than a movement reference number.

Can I speak to someone before ordering?

Absolutely. Buying an independent watch can be a personal decision. If you would like to discuss a watch, the build process or simply ask a question before ordering, please contact us. For now, enquiries are handled personally by Adam, founder of Helm & Stag.

Where are the watches assembled?

Helm & Stag watches are individually assembled and finished in Britain.

Are Helm & Stag watches water resistant?

Water resistance varies by model. Constantia and Fortitudo are built with water-resistant construction; specific depth ratings will only be stated where established by final production testing. Tabula Rasa is not sold as a water-resistant watch and should not be immersed in water.

What warranty is included?

Helm & Stag watches are supplied with a 24-month Helm & Stag warranty. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

How much is UK delivery?

UK delivery is complimentary. We use a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service suitable for the value of the watch.

Is Tabula Rasa really limited to 25 pieces?

Yes. Tabula Rasa First Edition is limited to 25 watches.

Will every Slateborne™ finish look identical?

No. Natural variation in the slate and resin finish is intentional. Texture, pattern and small tonal differences are part of the character of each individually finished Tabula Rasa.

How long does Tabula Rasa take?

Tabula Rasa is individually assembled and finished to order. Please allow approximately 14–21 working days for assembly, finishing and dispatch. If we expect a material delay, we will contact you.
